Terms of Service
Last updated 10 August 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
Recall is a brand owned and operated by Clik Marketing LLC ("Clik Marketing", "we", "us"). Recall provides a research and content-creation workspace for creators. These terms form an agreement between you and Clik Marketing LLC. By creating an account or continuing to use the service you agree to these terms. If you use Recall on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind it; otherwise you confirm you are of legal age in your country.
Recall is an independent product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube, Google, or any other platform, tool or provider mentioned on this site.
2. Accounts and access
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for activity that happens under your account. Access to the workspace requires an active plan or another valid entitlement on your account.
3. Subscriptions, credits and billing
Recall is sold as a monthly subscription. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of managed AI credits and an import quota. Included credits reset at the start of each billing period and do not roll over. Credits bought as top-up packs roll over while your account remains active.
Credits are consumed by AI actions such as generating a content pack, remixing, refreshing a script beat and generating thumbnail images. Credit prices for each action are shown in the app and may change over time with notice for future periods.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.
4. Cancellations and refunds
You can cancel at any time from the billing section of Settings, or delete your account from the Danger Zone in Settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; your paid access continues until the end of the period you already paid for, unless we say otherwise. Deleting your account cancels an active subscription immediately.
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, except where a refund is required by law or where Clik Marketing LLC decides to make an exception. Credit top-ups are consumable and non-refundable once purchased.
If you think you were charged twice, charged in error, or are entitled to a refund by law, email us at clikmarketingllc@gmail.com and we will review it, or raise it with Paddle directly. Paddle is our merchant of record and handles payment processing, invoices, taxes and refund mechanics — see Paddle's Refund Policy.
5. Imported content and your responsibility
You choose which videos and URLs to import. You are responsible for having the right to import and analyse that material in your jurisdiction, for complying with the terms of the platforms you take it from, and for how you use anything Recall generates from it.
Do not use Recall for unlawful activity, fraud or spam, infringing someone else's rights, or to interfere with the security of the service (malware, probing, scraping, circumventing limits).
6. AI outputs and human review
Recall's outputs — summaries, hooks, scripts, captions, angles, thumbnail images — are generated by AI models and may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable. They are drafts, not finished work and not professional, legal, medical or financial advice. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, fact-checking and deciding what to publish.
7. No copying or impersonation
Recall exists to help you learn from research and publish original work. You may not use it to reproduce another creator's content, script, thumbnail, voice, likeness, brand identity or other protected work, or to pass yourself off as someone else.
We may remove content, filter or refuse outputs, and suspend or terminate accounts for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. Rights holders can contact us to request a takedown; repeat infringement ends access.
8. Generated thumbnails
Thumbnail generation is opt-in and costs credits. Generated thumbnails are intended as original images inspired by broad patterns (composition, contrast, framing), not as replicas of any source thumbnail. Do not prompt for, or publish, images that copy a specific thumbnail or depict a real person without their permission. You are responsible for checking that any image you publish is appropriate and lawful.
9. Managed AI and bring your own key (BYOK)
Managed AI uses Recall-managed provider access and consumes your Recall credits. On plans where BYOK is supported, you can instead connect your own AI provider key; those requests are routed through your provider account.
With BYOK you are responsible for your keys and their security, your provider's billing, rate limits, model availability, terms and data practices. BYOK changes which credential and provider account is used — it does not remove your obligations under these terms or under your provider's policies. We store keys encrypted server-side and never expose them to the browser, but we cannot control what your provider does with the data you send.
10. Third-party services
Recall depends on third parties, including: Paddle (payments and Merchant of Record), Supabase (database, authentication and file storage), transcript providers such as TranscriptAPI (retrieving video transcripts), AI model providers (text and image generation), and hosting/infrastructure providers. Their availability and terms affect the service.
11. Intellectual property and licence
We own Recall, its software, branding and documentation. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your plan. No reverse engineering, resale, redistribution or circumvention of technical limits. You keep ownership of your own notes and imported material, and you grant us a limited licence to host and process that content solely to operate the service for you.
12. Availability, warranties and liability
Recall is an early product. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and features may change. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including lost profits, data or goodwill, and our total liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it. You agree to indemnify us for claims arising from your content, your unlawful use, or your breach of these terms.
13. Termination and changes
You can stop using Recall at any time and delete your workspace from Settings. On termination your access ends; export anything you want to keep first. We may update these terms as the product evolves and will update the date above when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
